
Light does not just affect the appreance of your space. Interestingly, the light in your home or room can affect your mood. When you have a dark or dull room it can make you feel depressed or down. Being in a bright clean room however, will make you feel refreshed and upbuilt, ready to take on the day!
To brighten up your room you would want to put some color in the space. Try finding some indoor plants that could freshen and liven up the room a bit. Go all-out on mirrors, as they will create the illusion of more space while also creating more light on the walls. It might also be worth trying to put some colour into your bedding or other furniture if you have a neutral colour scheme. This can also be done with some bright coloured cushions or throws on your bed or couch, especially if you find colors that complement one another and fit into in that room.
